  • Married: Your combined monthly income should be below R14,380.

Grant Payment Amount

  • R2,185 per month for people aged 60 to 75

Required Documentation for Older Persons Grant

1. South African ID

  • You will need either a green barcoded ID book, a smart ID card, or a temporary ID provided by the Department of Home Affairs.
