SASSA Loans
SASSA loans are money you can get through certain banks or finance companies, such as EasyPay. It’s important to know that SASSA itself does not give out loans. Only third-party companies, like TymeBank, provide loan options or advance payments to people receiving SASSA grants.
If you are a SASSA grant beneficiary and want to apply for a loan, you are in the right place. In this guide, I will explain how you can use the TymeBank or EasyPay websites to access a loan as a SASSA grant recipient. When I first checked, it was easy to navigate, and I could see all the steps clearly.
How to Apply for SASSA Loans?
SASSA does not provide loans directly. However, you can still get a loan through private companies like EasyPay. One option is the EasyPay Green Card. This is a prepaid card that allows SASSA grant recipients to apply for loans quickly and safely.
How Does It Work?
To get started, you need to sign up for an EasyPay account and request a Green Card. This card links directly to your SASSA grant. After activation, you can apply for a short-term loan.
Keep these details in mind:
- The loan application comes with a 31% fee.
- Interest on the loan is 164%.
- The repayment period is 6 months or less.
