SASSA Payment Dates Issued for Social Grants April 2025
- Older Persons Grant: 2 April 2025 – Wednesday
- Disability Grant: 3 April 2025 – Thursday
- Children’s Grant: 4 April 2025 – Friday
People who receive these grants should go to their usual SASSA pay points on the dates listed above. If you use a bank account for your money, you can go straight to the ATM and check your balance to see if the grant has already been loaded.
SASSA Status Check Approved But No Payment Date?
Did you check your SRD status and see that your application is approved but there is still no payment date? Many people face the same situation. The SRD R370 payment date sometimes takes a little longer to show on your SASSA status.
Give it some time while SASSA updates your payday. The payment window usually runs from the 25th of the month until the last day of the month.
SASSA Grant Payments Are Increased in the 2025 Annual Budget
In his 2025 budget speech, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana shared that the National Treasury set aside R284.7 billion to support the country’s long-term social grants. This funding will keep the main grant programs running for the year.
This contribution helped us to increase the SASSA social grant payments. The new payments are as follows:
